Chef & Brewer is seeking an Assistant Manager for The Three Horseshoes in Spellbrook. You will work closely with the General Manager to run the pub, lead service excellence and develop your team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running the pub alongside the General Manager and ensure shifts deliver the guest experience.

• Support day-to-day performance, maintain high standards, manage costs, and ensure the team has what it needs to succeed.
• Be confident taking ownership in the GM's absence, making decisions and keeping operations smooth during busy periods.

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who can bring energy, personality and great leadership to the team.

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in running the pub and making sure every shift delivers the experience our customers expect.
• You’ll lead from the front, supporting and developing your team to deliver great service, great food and a genuinely warm welcome.
• You’ll help drive the day-to-day performance of the pub, from keeping standards high and delivering fantastic customer experiences to supporting sales, controlling costs and making sure the team has everything they need to succeed.
• You’ll be confident taking ownership when the General Manager isn’t there, making decisions, solving problems and keeping the pub running smoothly during busy services.
• Most importantly, you’ll create an environment where your team enjoys coming to work and has the confidence to deliver their best.

• You’ll already have experience working in a busy hospitality environment, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
