Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Bathampton is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Bathampton Mill to support the General Manager, lead your team to success, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will mentor each team member, train and motivate staff to deliver great food, drink and service, act as Duty Manager when the GM is away, drive standards, and help develop a positive, high‑performing culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train, motivate and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Lead and develop the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences and service standards.
• Act as Duty Manager when the General Manager is unavailable.
