Job summary

The Great Schools Trust is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Office-based Finance Team at King’s Leadership Academy Warrington. The role offers a permanent contract for 30 hours per week, spread over four days, with flexibility Monday to Thursday and one Friday required.

You’ll work closely with our Management Accountant, supporting the academies’ financial management, day-to-day operations and developing a small Finance Officers team.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in finance including ledger management and month-end accounting.
• Strong organisational, proactive mindset with leadership potential.

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our supportive Finance Team at Great Schools Trust.

Working closely with our Management Accountant, you'll play an important role in supporting the financial management of our academies, overseeing day-to-day finance operations and helping to lead and develop a small team of Finance Officers.

We're looking for someone who is AAT qualified (or equivalent), has experience in finance, including ledger management and month-end accounting, and enjoys building positive working relationships. You'll be organised, proactive and keen to develop your knowledge and leadership skills.
