Assistant Management Accountant

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading manufacturing company due to year-on-year growth for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. This company is based in Failsworth and is a well-established market leader in their sector, with an excellent reputation for staff retention and development.

Description:

The Assistant Management Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be full-time office-based in Failsworth. Reporting to the Financial Controller, key responsibilities will include:

1. Cash book reconciliation
2. Petty Cash
3. Processing of Expenses
4. Balance sheet reconciliations
5. Maintaining fixed asset register
6. Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
7. Support preparation for the year-end audit
8. Other ad-hoc duties
9. Processing Sales Invoices
10. Processing Supplier Invoices

Profile:

In order to apply for the role, you should:

1. Be AAT Qualified or ACCA/CIMA Part qualified or Qualified by experience
2. Have experience of balance sheet reconciliations as a minimum
3. Be able to commute to the Failsworth office
4. Be able to consider a temporary position initially
