Work hours: 22.3 hours per week
Location: Base in Lochgilphead with the option of hybrid office/home working days each week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, creative, and dynamic individual to join Argyll and Bute HSCP as an Assistant Management Accountant.
Working closely with the Management Accountant, you will assist in delivering a professional management accounting service across various services in Oban, Lorn & the Isles, Mid Argyll, Kintyre & Islay, and Estates. Your responsibilities will include supporting all aspects of financial management such as monthly reporting, costings, analysis, and budget planning, working alongside the Management Accountant and senior finance team.
You will collaborate with professionals across different disciplines who are committed to making a difference, gain insight into how a complex organization operates, add value to key health services, and develop a range of transferable skills.
This position is ideally suited for recent graduates holding an HNC, HND, or degree, or candidates with equivalent relevant work experience who are interested in financial management within a complex organization and can demonstrate the following attributes:
Training opportunities and support to attain a recognized accountancy qualification are available to successful candidates.
Travel between various work locations within the Argyll and Bute Locality may occasionally be required to meet operational needs; therefore, a full driving license is essential.
