An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, creative, and dynamic individual to join Argyll and Bute HSCP as an Assistant Management Accountant.
Working closely with the Management Accountant, you will assist in delivering a professional management accounting service across services in Oban, Lorn & the Isles, Mid Argyll, Kintyre & Islay, and Estates. Your responsibilities include financial management tasks such as monthly reporting, costings, analysis, and budget planning, working alongside the Management Accountant and the senior Finance team.
This role offers the chance to work with professionals across various disciplines, learn about a complex organization, contribute to key health services, and develop transferable skills.
This position is ideally suited for new or recent graduates holding an HNC, HND, or Degree, or candidates with equivalent relevant work experience who are interested in financial management within a complex organization and can demonstrate the following essential attributes:
Training opportunities and support to gain a recognized accountancy qualification are available for successful candidates.
A full driving license is essential as occasional travel between work locations within the Argyll and Bute Locality may be required.
Please note: This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
