**Position:** Assistant Management Accountant - Band 4
**Hours:** 22.3 hours per week
**Location:** Base in Lochgilphead with optional hybrid office/home working days
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, creative, and dynamic individual to join Argyll and Bute HSCP as an Assistant Management Accountant.
In this role, you will work closely with the Management Accountant to deliver professional management accounting services across various services in Oban, Lorn & the Isles, Mid Argyll, Kintyre & Islay, and Estates. Your responsibilities will include financial management tasks such as monthly reporting, costings, analysis, and budget planning, supporting the senior finance team.
This position is ideal for recent graduates holding an HNC, HND, Degree, or candidates with equivalent relevant experience who are eager to develop a career in financial management within a complex organization. Essential attributes include:
Training opportunities and support for a recognized accountancy qualification are available. Occasional travel within the Argyll and Bute Locality is required, so a full driving license is essential.
Please note: This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
