Job summary

Active Travel England is hiring for an Inspectorate role to help improve walking, wheeling and cycling infrastructure across England. You will inspect active travel schemes, promote high design standards, and identify good and poor practice while collaborating with local authorities and stakeholders.

The role offers the chance to influence policy, ensure inclusive design, and develop skills in stakeholder engagement, project delivery, and scheme assessment within the Civil Service framework.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable understanding of diversity, inclusion and equality of opportunity and experience of applying these principles to deliver the best outcomes
• Experience of contributing to high performing teams
• Experience of using both verbal and written communications to deliver high quality outcomes

Responsibilities

• Working with a range of stakeholders
