Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a proactive Nursery Assistant to join nurseries in the Exeter area. The role requires Level 2/3 EY qualifications and prior experience in an Early Years setting.

You will support children across different age rooms, assisting with learning, routines and activities, while maintaining a caring, adaptable approach. DBS checks and references may be required, with support from a dedicated Consultant and access to CPD courses.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification / QTS
• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
• Confidence working across different age rooms
• Willingness to support general day-to-day nursery duties

Responsibilities

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification / QTS

• Confidence working across different age rooms
• A caring and positive temperament
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A willingness to support with general day-to-day nursery duties
