Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council seeks a committed individual to join our Hub teams in Cardiff. You will manage and coordinate a professional face-to-face service across hubs, including full library provision and event planning, plus building management.
You will work on a rota basis, including weekend and evening shifts, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive programme that strengthens community engagement while delivering high-quality customer service and information across council services.

The successful applicant will oversee the planning and coordination of events in Hubs across the city, creating a diverse and inclusive programme that attracts visitors, increases footfall, and strengthens community engagement.
Services provided include advice on general council enquiries, Housing & Benefits, digital & financial inclusion along with partnership working and tailored community events.
Weekend and evening working will be required on a rota basis and location of work may vary.
You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, work well in a team and have a flexible approach.
You will have experience of providing advice on an array of council services including Waste management, Library provision & arranging Community events.
You will have knowledge on Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction scheme, Housing including the Welfare Reform Act and the options available to help those affected.
You will work closely with partner organisations and advice agencies to ensure a fully accessible co-ordinated service is provided.
You will have experience of supervising or managing staff, mentoring, coaching and resolving more complex enquiries and disputes in a positive and constructive manner.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.
This post is temporary until 31/10/2027.
