Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council is seeking a full-time individual for the Service Improvement Team. The successful candidate will manage the Business & Project Support Team and support strategic workforce planning across Adults, Housing & Communities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to join the Service Improvement Team. The Service Improvement Team are responsible for leading on improvement projects across Adults, Housing & Communities, alongside provide business support, workforce planning and digital transformation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day line management of the Business & Project Support Team, which provides essential support to the senior management team of Adults, Housing & Communities, and for strategically assessing workforce needs to ensure service improvement. You will also provide in-depth support to the Director of Adults, Housing & Communities.
This position will be home-working or based at County Hall but will also potentially be required to work at various locations throughout the city.
You will have in-depth knowledge of recruitment workforce planning alongside experience of working in a business support environment.
You will have experience of creating reports and plans and will be able to demonstrate very strong organisational skills.
A relevant professional qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh alongside other community languages would be an advantage.
