Job summary

Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council seeks a committed individual to join our Hub teams in Cardiff. You will manage and coordinate a professional face-to-face service across hubs, including full library provision and event planning, plus building management.

You will work on a rota basis, including weekend and evening shifts, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive programme that strengthens community engagement while delivering high-quality customer service and information across council services.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service across a front-facing service.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexibility to meet service needs and rota requirements.
• Experience advising on council services (Waste, Library, Community events).
• Knowledge of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, Welfare Reform, and related provisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and coordination of events in Hubs across the city.
• Manage and coordinate a professional face-to-face service including library provision and events.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver accessible, coordinated services.
