Great Scotland Yard Hotel – The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, London, is seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the Executive Housekeeper in day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead teams, uphold brand standards, conduct room inspections, and collaborate with Front Office and Engineering to ensure smooth room availability and guest requests, with a focus on cleanliness and presentation.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach with attention to detail.
• Experience in luxury or lifestyle hotel environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the day-to-day running of the Housekeeping department.
• Lead and motivate housekeeping colleagues to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain brand standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and presentation.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office and Engineering teams to manage room availability, maintenance requirements and guest requests.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen and uniforms, ensuring stock levels are effectively controlled and resources are used efficiently.
• Assist with colleague recruitment, onboarding, training and performance development within the department.
• Handle guest feedback, requests and concerns professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and high satisfaction levels.
• Support the delivery of departmental objectives by maintaining operational standards, health and safety compliance, and effective team communication.

About You

We are looking for an experienced housekeeping professional with previous supervisory experience in a hotel environment. You will be a confident people leader with excellent communication and organisational skills, capable of motivating teams and maintaining exceptional standards. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service are essential. Experience within a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment would be highly advantageous.
