Job summary

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a luxury hotel team in the heart of the City of London. You will oversee daily operations, coach staff and ensure the highest cleaning standards.

The role requires organised, detail‑oriented professionals with strong communication and leadership skills, capable of guiding a team in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining guest satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the Housekeeping team with regular feedback and on-the-job training to maintain high performance and service standards.
• Conduct daily team briefings, allocate tasks and monitor productivity to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of duties.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure exceptional cleanliness, presentation and compliance with hotel standards.
• Monitor room statuses and housekeeping tasks through Hotsos, ensuring requests, maintenance issues and guest requirements are actioned promptly.
• Ensure housekeeping equipment, trolleys, storage areas and pantries are maintained, well-stocked, organised and in safe working condition.
• Handle guest requests, concerns and housekeeping-related complaints professionally, taking immediate action to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Support stock control processes, including inventory checks, supply monitoring and accurate reporting of departmental requirements.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures, reporting hazards, incidents and maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
