Travelodge Bournemouth Seafront is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to lead and motivate hotel teams, drive guest satisfaction, and support ongoing development. This full-time role focuses on people management, training, and delivering brand standards across operations.

You will foster a customer-centric culture, manage rosters and safety, and participate in incentive schemes to boost engagement and results.

Qualifications

• You have led a team in a service-led customer facing industry.
• Food & beverage experience would be advantageous if applying for a Bar Cafe hotel.
• You thrive in a fast paced environment with clear communication and KPI focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver outstanding customer experience.
• Create personal development plans for team members' career growth.
• Recruit and induct motivated staff to maintain welcoming onboarding.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to brand standard in Bar Cafe hotels.
• Maximise food and beverage sales by cross-selling and upselling.
• Review customer feedback and implement targeted improvement plans.
• Ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned to company standards.
• Report and oversee repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Manage rotas, handle banking and health & safety responsibilities.
• Engage team members and promote incentive schemes to drive performance.
