Travelodge Portsmouth City Centre is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to lead and develop a hotel team, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational standards. The role includes coaching, recruitment, inductions, and driving sales as appropriate for Bar Cafe formats.

You will oversee rota planning, banking, compliance with health & safety, and daily maintenance tasks while supporting a high-growth, value-driven hotel operation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading a hotel or service team.
• Strong customer service focus with KPI accountability.
• Ability to recruit, train and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver outstanding customer experience.
• Recruit and onboard new team members with effective induction.
• Monitor F&B standards and upsell where applicable at Bar Cafe hotels.
• Review customer feedback and implement improvement plans.
• Oversee housekeeping and public areas to brand standards.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance reporting.
• Manage staff rotas, banking and health & safety compliance.
• Drive engagement through incentive schemes.
