Job summary

The Ritz London is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Manager to join its luxury hospitality team. Based in central London, you will support and implement compliance across health, safety, and hygiene, collaborating with the Director of Security & Risk on current hotel development projects.

You will maintain documentation, assist internal audits and training schedules, support food safety compliance, and work with multiple departments to ensure consistent application of health and safety

POSITION OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team at The Ritz London as a Health & Safety Manager.

This role is ideal for a health and safety professional looking to take the next step in their career within a luxury hospitality environment. Working closely with the Director of Security & Risk, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and implementing compliance activities across health, safety, and hygiene—particularly during the planning and delivery of current hotel development projects.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining documentation, assisting with internal audits and training schedules, supporting food safety compliance efforts, and working with various departments to ensure consistent application of health and safety standards throughout the hotel.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Previous experience in a health & safety ideally within a hospitality, facilities, or compliance-based environment
• Experience working with Navitas, or similar safety and compliancy software, is beneficial
• Experience or knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
• Great command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Confident and professional attitude to internal colleagues and external guests and contractors
