Job summary

Danetree Primary School in England is seeking an inspiring Assistant Headteacher (SENCO) to lead SEND provision and champion inclusive practice. You will shape whole-school strategy, drive improvements, and work with the leadership team to ensure rapid progress for all learners.

Successful candidates will have QTS, senior leadership experience, and be working towards or hold the National Award for SEN Coordination, with a strong commitment to safeguarding and collaboration across the GLF Schools

Qualifications

• QTS required and strong teaching background.
• Senior leadership experience expected or in progress to National Award for SEN Coordination.
• Solid understanding of SEN Code of Practice and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND provision and policy across the school.
• Drive school improvement and high-quality teaching.
• Develop staff and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Headteacher and the GLF Schools cluster.
