Brookthorpe Hall School, part of Outcomes First Group, seeks an experienced Assistant Headteacher to lead curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment. You will partner with senior leaders to drive school improvement and champion a high‑quality, ambitious curriculum for all students.

The role excludes ECTs/NQTs and requires strong classroom expertise, leadership experience, and a commitment to NPQSL. You will inspire staff and contribute to strategic planning within a supportive multi‑academy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education and qualified teacher status (QTS) required.
• Significant leadership experience in a school setting.
• Commitment to completing NPQSL (National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership).

Responsabilités

• Lead curriculum development and evaluate quality of education across the school.
• Drive teaching excellence through coaching, mentoring and QA.
• Develop a clear curriculum vision to support outstanding outcomes.
• Support Heads of Department to raise standards and improve practice.
• Use data to evaluate impact and inform improvement.
• Oversee staff professional development and school CPD.
• Promote inclusive practice and SEND/autism-friendly teaching.
