Job summary

Cedar Children's Academy in Strood, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced senior leader to join our team as Assistant Headteacher to drive both strategic direction and day-to-day leadership. This role works closely with the Senior Leadership Team to uphold high expectations and secure outstanding outcomes for all pupils, regardless of starting points, while promoting an inclusive ethos.

You will support cross-hub working across trusted schools and lead by example to develop staff, routines

• Champion the School’s vision and values.
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of the school’s aims and priorities.
• Lead and manage staff and resources effectively to maximise impact.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on school performance and pupil outcomes.
• Deputise for the Headteacher when required.
• Ensure the highest standards of pupil welfare and safeguarding at all times.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to uphold our high expectations and secure outstanding outcomes for all pupils, regardless of their starting points. You will promote an inclusive and positive ethos that fosters excellent behaviour, conduct and wellbeing for every pupil.

As part of a collaborative trust, you will also support cross-hub working, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute across multiple schools where required.
