Fromefield Manor School is a new SEN school (opened 9/24) located in central Frome, Somerset, for up to 30 pupils aged 11-19 with autism and complex needs. We support our staff with the expertise of our existing successful SEN schools in the area.

We are recruiting an ambitious, passionate, and committed Assistant Headteacher to join Fromefield Manor School. This is a great opportunity for experienced SEN school teachers or qualified teachers seeking career progression.

As an Assistant Headteacher, you will need to:

• Have successful teaching experience and hold UK QTS
• Be an Autism Specialist capable of developing and implementing the school's vision, values, and curriculum
• Proven leadership in managing staff and overseeing school operations
• Embed personalised learning approaches and adapt teaching strategies for best outcomes
• Mentor, train, and support staff through staff development and CPD
• Promote mental health and wellbeing initiatives
• Engage with parents and the community effectively
• Assist with administrative and compliance processes, including AQAS, EIF, and ISS
• Be an outstanding practitioner with a focus on cognitive behaviour and learning development for students with ASD
• Show enthusiasm and a desire to progress
• Possess strong knowledge of teaching and learning practices
• Communicate effectively with parents and the wider community
