Job summary

WGC Ltd in Birmingham seeks an Assistant Head Housekeeper to support the day-to-day housekeeping operations. You will report to the Head Housekeeper and lead a team to maintain room standards and guest satisfaction.

The role is salaried for 40 hours per week with flexible shifts across 7 days and late shifts on busy days. WGC offers a strong development plan, training and extensive progression opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping environments is preferred.
• Ability to deliver consistent service in a challenging environment.
• Interest in career development and progression within the company.

Responsibilities

• Check rooms per company standard and maintain quality.
• Improve productivity and efficiency of room cleaning.
• Analyze guest data to plan resources and materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with GM, hotel team, HSK team and suppliers.
• Identify ways to improve guest satisfaction.
• Enforce Health and Safety policies and COSHH/manual handling.
• Recruit, train, and monitor team performance daily/weekly.
• Deliver and exceed financial targets and manage payroll within budget.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve skills.
