Job summary

NIKE, Inc. in Leeds is seeking an Assistant Head Coach to drive a top-tier shopping experience. You will lead and develop a diverse in-store team, ensure service excellence, and execute NIKE strategies across store operations and customer engagement.

This role requires extensive retail leadership experience, a passion for sport, and a strong command of English. You will report on store performance and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive retail experience including experience in management.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Passion for NIKE and/or love of sport.
• Very good command of English (written and spoken).
• Experience in delivering exceptional consumer service.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with Head Coach to create a top shopping experience and service excellence for customers.
• Coordinate, support and supervise a diverse team, including recruitment, development and performance management.
• Implement operational processes and tools to hit sales targets, optimize services and boost customer satisfaction.
• Oversee Commercial, Athlete and Consumer Experience departments as needed.
• Support Head Coach in implementing NIKE strategy in-store (sustainability, membership, digital services).
• Provide reports on store activities, local marketplace and consumer insights.
• Ensure store compliance with NIKE standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stores and HQ partners; bring passion for NIKE and sport.

• Cooperating with the Head Coach to create a unique shopping experience and deliver service excellence to our consumers.
• Coordinating, supporting and supervising a diverse team and ensuring an excellent work atmosphere (e.g. recruitment, development, performance management, staffing).
• Implementing operational excellent processes and tools to reach sales targets, optimize services and improve the consumer satisfaction as well as to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Overseeing various departments such as Commercial, Athlete and/or Consumer Experience.
• Supporting Head Coach in implementing NIKE's strategy in your store (e.g. sustainability, membership, digital services).
• Providing reports about store activities, local marketplace and consumer insights.
• Ensuring that the store complies with all NIKE standards and guidelines.
• Cooperating with your business partners across stores and HQ.
  A passion for NIKE and/or love of sport.
• Some experience in retail and/or leadership positions.
• Very good command of English language (written and spoken).
• Experience and competency in serving exceptional consumer service.
• Ability to coach and develop a strong team.
• Strong focus on communication.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends.
