Job summary

TipTopJob in London is seeking a strong Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a busy, high-quality restaurant. You’ll work closely with the GM to drive service standards, energy on the floor and guest moments that matter. Salary is £50,000–£55,000 plus bonus.

Theyre looking for a strong Assistant General Manager to join the team. Someone who loves being on the floor, knows what great service looks like and can bring the energy, structure and leadership needed in a busy, quality:led restaurant.

The Role

Working closely with a brilliant GM, youll be a key part of running the restaurant day to day : leading from the floor, developing the team and making sure standards never slip.

Youll Be

• Leading a busy front:of:house team and keeping service slick
• Coaching and developing the team, building confidence and creating a strong culture
• Getting involved commercially : P and L, rotas, labour, spend and margins
• Keeping the guest experience front and centre, even when things get busy
• Bringing energy to the floor and setting the tone for the wider team

What Youll Bring

• Experience as an AGM or GM within a quality, high:volume restaurant : ideally A GBP 100k+ weekly turnover
• A background in a business where the food, drinks and service are equally important
• A strong track record of developing and retaining great teams
• Commercial awareness and confidence around the numbers
• High standards, plenty of energy and a genuine love of hospitality
• Someone who is hands:on, visible and enjoys being right in the middle of the operation
