Job summary

Livelyhood Venues is a London hospitality operator seeking an Assistant General Manager to support General Managers across busy pubs. You’ll lead teams, uphold high standards and drive guest satisfaction every day.

You’ll manage operations, develop staff, and step in as acting GM when needed. We offer a competitive salary, 45-hour weeks, staff discounts, and progression toward GM opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a busy pub, bar or restaurant team.
• Confident stepping up as acting GM.
• Proven leadership skills, able to motivate Front & BOH teams.
• Confident managing operational performance.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Loves a community pub and upholds hospitality as fun.

Responsibilities

• Be the GM’s right-hand and step in as acting GM when needed.
• Lead, develop and inspire our talented teams.
• Drive operational excellence, sales, and profitability.
• Keep standards high across food, drink, and guest experience.
• Take ownership of key areas as agreed with GM.
