Job summary

The Regent Balham, part of Livelyhood Venues, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager and oversee daily operations at this busy neighbourhood pub.

You will lead front and back of house teams, drive guest satisfaction and commercial results while nurturing a sense of community. This live-out role offers progression opportunities to GM within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a busy pub, bar or restaurant team.
• Confident stepping up as acting GM.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Be the GM’s right-hand and act in the GM's absence.
• Lead, develop and inspire our teams.
• Drive operational excellence, sales and profitability.
• Maintain high standards across food, drink and guest experience.
• Own key areas as agreed with the GM.
