Job summary
Popeyes UK & I is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant in Bolton. You’ll partner with the GM to drive guest experience, food quality, and efficiency while developing a strong team and ensuring compliance with safety and employment laws.
Ideal candidates bring proven AGM/GM experience in branded QSR, a track record of hitting targets, and a passion for growth.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
- Proven ability to drive sales targets, manage costs, and lead teams through coaching and development.
- Experience with labour scheduling, stock management and inventory systems.
- Strong people leadership and succession development track record.
- Commitment to quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver outstanding food quality, speed, and guest experience.
- Support the GM in building and executing a winning plan to smash performance goals.
- Ensure full team compliance with HACCP, health & safety and employment legislation.
- Be a role model, set high standards, and inspire the team.
- Create an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
- Recruit, develop and retain top talent to build a strong future pipeline.
- Bring energy to the team, keep service smooth, and maintain a positive culture.
- Step in for the GM when required and pursue personal development toward leadership.
