Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a dynamic Gym Manager to lead daily operations across the club, maintain brand standards, and drive member satisfaction. You will recruit and manage a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants, run regular meetings, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and exceptional service.

With a proven track record in sales and local marketing, you will work to grow memberships and maximise revenue while upholding the JD Gyms ethos and ambassadorial role for the brand.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about customer service and an inspirational leader.
• Proven track record in driving sales and coordinating local marketing activity.
• Experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in leisure/fitness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks and ensure facilities and equipment are safe.
• Recruit, manage and develop a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants.
• Hold regular team meetings and drive daily operational delivery.
• Achieve sales and membership targets; maximise secondary spending.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards across the gym.
• Oversee banking processes and minimize wastage and variance.
• Uphold uniform standards and deliver outstanding member service.
• Be an ambassador for JD Gyms and support brand reputation.
