Job summary

POPEYES UK CHICKEN & PIZZA LTD in Lincoln is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the restaurant in delivering iconic food, fast service, and outstanding guest experiences in a high-volume setting.

You will back the GM, coach and develop the team, manage labour and costs, ensure HACCP and safety compliance, and drive recruitment and retention to build a ready-now leadership pipeline through Popeyes University.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Experience leading results through coaching, training and honest conversations
• Sales targets, P&L management and cost control experience
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership and development of future leaders
• Ability to maintain quality, safety and cleanliness standards

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations and drive guest experience to Popeyes standards
• Support GM in planning and achieving performance goals
• Ensure food safety, health & safety and employment legislation compliance
• Set high standards, inspire the team and maintain a welcoming environment
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent to build a strong team
• Assist when GM is away and pursue personal development

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
