Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-volume restaurant team and support the GM in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will drive performance across people, profit, and standards, ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations, and foster a warm, inclusive work environment. A strong track record in QSR leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Experience leading teams, coaching, training and having honest conversations when needed.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes' outstanding food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support your GM in building a winning plan and smashing performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Be the role model—set the tone, keep standards high, and inspire your team.
• Create a warm, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent—you’ll know how to build a dream team + pipeline future talent.
• Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture poppin'
• Take the reins when your GM is away + stay hungry for personal development—this is your stepping stone to future leadership
