4Leisure Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading premium fitness business in Barbican for an Assistant General Manager / Sales Manager role. Drive membership growth, build local relationships and support day-to-day club operations.

The role is hands-on and sales-led, with responsibility for new memberships, retention, and leading a small team of up to three staff, ensuring outstanding member experience and high presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Must have operational and sales-focused management experience.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Hands-on leader with ability to motivate a small team.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day operations of the Club.
• Support and lead on daily operations and running the facilities.
• Responsible for Health club H&S and member experience.
• Drive new membership sales and achieve monthly targets.
• Manage the sales pipeline and CRM to maximise conversions.
• Develop local business partnerships and generate new sales opportunities.
• Support member retention through excellent customer service and engagement.
• Monitor sales performance and report on KPIs.
• Lead, coach and organise a small team of up to three staff.
• Ensure high standards of presentation, compliance and health & safety.

Assistant General Manager - Barbican

Salary: up to 35k + bonus

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading premium fitness business based in the heart of Barbican. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven Assistant General Manager / Sales Manager to drive membership growth, build local business relationships and support the day-to-day running of a successful club.

This is a hands-on, sales-led management role where you'll be responsible for driving new memberships, increasing member retention and supporting the day-to-day operation of the club. You'll also oversee a small team of staff, leading by example to deliver an outstanding member experience.
