Job summary

Benugo Limited is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join The Burrell Collection in Glasgow. You will oversee operational functions, guide the team, and ensure our food, service and standards meet the highest expectations.

You will build and maintain client relationships, manage budgets and forecasting, drive sales, and mentor the team while upholding food safety and health & safety practices across front and back of house. Shifts: 5 days out of 7.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management
• Strong leadership and team development
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
• Knowledge of health and food safety standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the operational function of the location, ensuring high standards of product and service
• Build and maintain client relationships through regular meetings, problem solving and forward planning
• Ensure exceptional customer experience from front and back of house
• Drive sales and service improvements while maintaining quality
• Support financial and budget management including forecasting and cost control
• Lead and develop the team through performance evaluations, coaching and training

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join the team at The Burrell Collection

The Burrell Collection is a world class art museum located in Pollok Country Park, Glasgow. It houses over 9,000 objects amassed by Sir Williams Burrell featuring ancient Chinese art, medieval stained glass, tapestries and French impressionist painting.

Contract: Full Time

About the Assistant General Manager role:

To oversee and assist with the operational function of the location, by providing direction and structure to the team and ensuring our product and service is always of a high standard

To build and maintain the client relationship by regularly meeting, problem solving and forward planning with the client

To ensure the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard from front and back of house

To continuously work towards improving sales and service

Assist with the Financial and budget management including forecasting, cost control and forward planning

To support and manage the performance of the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training, and mentoring

To ensure high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times
