Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant teams and partner with the GM to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will drive performance, coach staff, and ensure compliance with food safety, health, and employment laws in a fast-paced setting.

As the right hand to the GM, you will manage people, profits, and operations while maintaining Popeyes' standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Experience leading teams, coaching, training and having honest conversations to drive results.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support the GM in building a winning plan and achieving performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Be the role model—set the tone, keep standards high, and inspire your team.
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent and build a pipeline for future leadership.
