Job description

Role overview:

This role involves managing daily operations of the gym, ensuring safety standards, leading a team, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Hand Book are adhered to.
• Maintain the JD Gyms Brand Standard across all operations.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks; report and follow up on all defects to ensure the building and equipment are safe to use.
• Recruit, manage, and develop a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to ensure operational coverage and delivery of daily expectations.
• Hold regular team meetings to promote development and keep staff updated.
• Work towards and aim to achieve all set sales and membership targets.
• Drive and maximize secondary spend revenue.
• Maintain the gym facility to the highest standard of cleanliness, ensuring the in-house cleaners meet these standards.
• Manage the weekly banking process to minimize wastage and variance, thereby maximizing profit.
• Ensure all team members adhere to uniform standards.
• Deliver outstanding member service at all times.
• Create an enjoyable and positive environment for the team at work.
• Represent JD Gyms as an ambassador at all times.
