Job summary

Côte Brasserie is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in running a busy restaurant in Edinburgh. You will oversee daily operations, drive service standards, and foster a welcoming guest experience.

You will lead a dynamic team, partner with kitchen and bar, and contribute to a culture of exceptional hospitality, wine and food focus, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in a high-volume restaurant or brasserie.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for hospitality, food and wine.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure service standards reflect the quality and style of a classic French brasserie.

• Help manage rotas, labour costs, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance.

The Role

As Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant. You will help ensure exceptional service standards, maintain operational efficiency, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
