Job summary

Popeyes UK&I is seeking Assistant General Managers who can lead from the front in a high-volume restaurant. You will drive results across people, profit, and guest experience, acting as the right hand to the GM.

You’ll recruit, coach, and develop teams while upholding food safety and staff welfare. Competitive salary with performance incentives, a strong bonus scheme, and extensive development through Popeyes University are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Experience coaching, training, and having honest conversations to drive results.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes’ outstanding food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support your GM in building a winning plan and smashing performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment legislation.

• Create a warm, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent—you’ll know how to build a dream team pipeline for future talent.
• Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture poppin’
• Take the reins when your GM is away + stay hungry for personal development—this is your stepping stone to future leadership

What you’ll bring to the table:
