Role Overview:

The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial lawyer specializing in technology, data privacy, data protection, and AI. The role involves providing practical, business-focused legal advice globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support legal and regulatory matters for a global organization.
• Advise on technology, data privacy, data protection, AI, and related legal issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• Assist Technology and Risk Management teams with legal support.
• Develop governance policies and procedures.
• Review new services and solutions, including governance processes and regulatory issues.
• Manage external legal counsel across jurisdictions efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Provide practical advice balancing risk and business needs.
• Present on legal topics and write articles.
• Mentor junior team members.

About You:

• UK qualified lawyer with significant experience, preferably from a major law firm or in-house.
• Expert legal skills in complex legal and regulatory matters.
