Job summary

Glasgow Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Cumbernauld just outside Glasgow is seeking a friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our hospitality team.

You will welcome guests, check them in and out, advise on rates, packages and promotions, and handle guest issues with care to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction. The role requires a proactive, guest-focused approach and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front office or reception role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage guest issues and upsell packages.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check them in/out.
• Provide information on rates, packages and promotions.
• Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with Front of House Manager to maximise revenue.

What will I do?

Reception is the first impression of the hotel a guest will experience so it is crucial you and your team provide an outstanding level of service. Supporting the Front of House Manager, you’ll be responsible for the guests stay, review room allocation, advise on rates, packages and promotions, guest issues and complaints and to maximise revenue.
