Thomson Environmental Consultants is seeking an Assistant Freshwater Ecologist to join our growing Aquatic Ecology team. You will develop skills in survey work, data analysis, reporting and assessments across rivers and lakes.

Based anywhere across England and Wales, you will coordinate surveys, liaise with clients and landowners, and contribute to tenders and quotes to support revenue growth while developing your consultancy experience.

Qualificações

• A degree or postgraduate degree in Aquatic Ecology, Hydro-Ecology or related subject.
• A valid driving licence and vehicle, insured for business use.
• Ability and willingness to travel and stay away at survey sites in various locations in the UK.
• Self-motivation with the ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Graduate membership of CIEEM (desirable).
• Experience with freshwater survey methods (desirable).
• Hydrology knowledge or flow gauging (desirable).
