Job summary

Selecta in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to oversee UK financial reporting, month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations. You will own revenue and margin reporting for Technical and Wholesale streams, support the year-end statutory accounts, and drive automation in the finance function.

You will report to the Head of Financial Control, work with external auditors, and help transition to a new ERP while delivering accurate, timely financial commentary.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with post-qualification experience.
• Experience of month-end reporting and group reporting across multiple subsidiaries.
• Ability to manage balance sheet reconciliations and control environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead UK month-end close with timely and accurate results.
• Own reporting of Technical and Wholesale revenue and margin.
• Prepare and review journals with variance analysis.
• Oversee payroll journal and related reconciliations with HR partner.
• Prepare Cognos submissions to Group monthly, quarterly and annually.
