A leading B2B data provider in London is looking for an Assistant Controller to support financial control functions and ensure accurate reporting. This role involves managing month-end closes, audit processes, and improving financial systems. Candidates should be qualified accountants with strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in fast-paced environments. A proactive mindset and attention to detail are essential, alongside collaboration with FP&A and auditors for thorough financial management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment, ideally SaaS/tech.
• Proven background in financial control and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Support month-end and year-end close processes for accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Assist in producing monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
• Maintain internal financial controls and processes.
• Support statutory accounts preparation in line with IFRS/UK GAAP.
• Partner with auditors during external audits.
• Drive process improvements and automation.
• Collaborate with FP&A to ensure financial data alignment.
• Monitor financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Support ad hoc finance projects.
