Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Assistant Finance Business Partner to deliver timely and accurate financial information, challenge and support to budget holders, and drive cost improvement across services.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will prepare monitoring information, analyse variances, advise executives and service leads, and help train managers in financial processes while supporting the Directorates' budgets and targets.

Qualifications

• Experience producing financial monitoring information and commentaries.
• Ability to review significant variances and work with managers on corrective action.
• Experience training budget holders in financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monitoring information for Deputy Director of Finance and senior managers.
• Provide financial support and challenge to operational management.
• Identify and deliver cost improvement savings with Operations teams.
• Budget liaison with Executives and budget holders; advise on budgets, performance and targets.
