The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner (NHS AfC: Band 4) to bolster the finance team and provide high-quality financial support to budget holders and managers.

You will contribute to monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while advising on financial governance and supporting service improvements across divisions.

Qualifications

• AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Grade C or above in GCSE English or Maths or equivalent
• Experience of a management accounting environment to include production, using Standing Financial Instructions
• NHS Experience

Responsabilités

• Support the delivery of comprehensive financial management services including monthly management accounts, budget monitoring, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Assist with budget setting, recovery plans, efficiency programmes, year end accounts, and journal processing while ensuring accurate handling of accruals and payroll adjustments.
