Shropshire Council is seeking a proactive Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Business Partnering team. You will provide budget holders with high quality advice, analysis and information to underpin decision making and performance management.

You will support strategic policy development and ensure financial discipline is applied across client service areas, delivering excellence in reporting, analysis and financial control.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or equivalent business/accounting degree; CCAB preferred or working towards CCAB.
• Knowledge of local government finance and ability to advise senior management.
