Job summary

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Wirral is offering a 12-month fixed-term Finance role for a Band 5 assistant who will produce and report financial information, support senior managers and clinical directors, and complete variance analyses to explain deviations from budgets.

You will input data to the general ledger, monitor budgets, provide timely monthly adjustments, and deputise for Finance Business Partners at departmental reviews, contributing to timely board reports.

Qualifications

• NVQ 4 level in Accounting (AAT) or equivalent.
• Word and Excel Skills, relevant IT training and experience.
• Business Administration/Finance NVQ.

Responsibilities

• Produce and report on financial information, assisting Finance Business Partners, for Senior Managers, Budget Holders and Clinical Directors.
• Provide financial analysis and support to the Finance Management team.
• Gather and produce data for inputting on the general ledger system and ensure income/expenditure is coded to cost centres.
