Job summary

Ty Hafan invites applications for an Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee the operational delivery of facilities services and health & safety compliance across the Tæ Hafan estate. You will line-manage a small team and external contractors to ensure high standards of service.

The role is hands‑on, requires attendance on site at our Head Office, and reports to the Head of Estates and Facilities. You will lead a team, supervise contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH).
• Experience working in a multi‑site facilities management environment.
• Proven people management and contractor liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day facilities services across all sites.
• Oversee contractor performance and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance and regulatory compliance.
• Lead health and safety coordination including risk assessments and incident management.
• Manage budgets and report risks to Head of Estates and Facilities.
