Job summary

Solent Hotel & Spa is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join the management team and elevate hospitality across our restaurant, bar, room service, conferences and events. You will lead daily briefings, drive guest satisfaction, and coach a high-performing F&B team in a fast-paced, four-star environment.

The role offers opportunities to manage budgets, stock, labour costs and promotions while delivering exceptional guest experiences and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in high-end hospitality management or equivalent, across restaurant, bar or events.
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Willingness to coach and develop teams and drive guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team in running all F&B departments across the property: restaurant, bar, room service, conferences and events.
• Lead daily briefings and ensure smooth communication across departments.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences with focus on quality, consistency and service excellence.
• Lead and inspire the food & beverage team; drive operational excellence and cost control.
• Coach and develop staff, fostering warm hospitality and high standards.
