Our Client are a growing main contractor business based in Central London with a group turnover of £100million and looking to further grow their business in 2025. As a brand they have over 30 years experience within the industry and specialise in new build projects for retail, leisure and hotel schemes ranging from £500k - £50million. With a great core business in their London office they are now looking to a hire an Estimator with 3+ years experience to join their business

Responsibilities

• Work with senior estimators to prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for new build projects.
• Review and understand project plans, specifications, and related documents.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing and information.
• Maintain a detailed database of historical cost data for future reference.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to better understand project requirements.
• Help prepare and submit tender documents in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with construction costs, materials, and processes is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the construction estimating field.
