As a key team member, you will assist in the estimation process, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for our clients. Your responsibilities will include helping senior estimators prepare precise cost estimates for facade and cladding projects by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation.

Your tasks will include:

1. Conducting material take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings to determine required material quantities.
2. Communicating with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and equipment.
3. Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to gather information and clarify project requirements.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding client requirements and obtaining additional information such as drawings or BOQ.
• Calculating the façade cladding area (m2) from drawings using Excel or AutoCAD for take-offs.
• Optimizing panel schedules for cost-effective value engineering solutions.
• Inputting data, including margins, into costing templates.
• Presenting quotations for review before client submission.
• Having a background in the construction industry, particularly in facade solutions.
• Proficiency in reading construction and architectural drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Minimum of 12 months’ experience in product distribution or construction-related roles.
• Experience in pricing, estimating, or financial analysis is advantageous.
