N Family Club in Kingston upon Thames is seeking an Assistant Educator to join our Nursery Education team. You’ll support a welcoming, curriculum-led environment and help deliver the N Curriculum, guiding children to dream big and explore with confidence.

Qualifications

• You don’t need previous experience in a similar role, just a genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children!
• Drive to complete induction and take up opportunities for training (Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Child Protection).
• Willingness to gain a Level 2/Level 3 Early Years qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Follow our daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
• Support the planning of innovative, challenging learning experiences that encourage child development.
• Support with high-quality observations, assessments, and planning for key children.
• Help supervise mealtimes in line with N’s safety policies.
• Complete daily health & safety checks thoroughly, escalating concerns where needed.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
• Embed all policies and procedures into your daily practice.
• Make sure every area is kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Help with day-to-day tasks that keep the nursery running smoothly.
